| Abstract |
This deliverable is the initial Data Management Plan (DMP) of the DTOTrack project. It provides an overview of the data and other research outputs that will be (re)used and generated within the project and describes how these will be handled during and after the project. The DMP supports common understanding and expectations among project partners and associated teams for the management of data associated to DTOTrack. It serves as a tool to ensure DTOTrack meets research community, partner institution, national and EU standards for data access. More specifically, the DMP addresses how the data will comply to FAIR principles, and describes (data) documentation, quality control, standardization, storage, accessibility, reusability, and security. In general, DTOTrack will apply FAIR principles and current best practices and standards regarding management of animal tracking data and other research outputs as much as possible. Animal tracking data will be uploaded to the ETN and follow ETN data policy guidelines. DTOTrack data will made public (under CC-By license) after an embargo of 2 years. This DMP will be updated during the project lifetime as needed. |
