Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

| Abstract |
| EMBRC will provide services to users from academia, industry and government. Services will include the provision of access to European marine, coastal ecosystems and biodiversity, marine model organisms, culture collections, technology platforms including imaging, omics and structural biology facilities, e-infrastructure services, as well as culture, laboratory and training facilities and services. Belgium joined EMBRC in 2015 by uniting the forces of 11 research groups of Ghent University, Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ) and University of Hasselt. |
